Latino Queen is Miss Earth

Miss Earth is an annual international beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness. Miss Earth is one of the three largest beauty pageants in the world in terms of the number of national-level competitions to participate in the world finals  and one of the most publicized beauty contests in the world.

The reigning Miss Earth titleholder dedicate ther year to promote project concerning environment and other grobal issues, through school tours, tree planting activities, street campaigns, coastal clean ups, speaking engagement, shopping mall tours, media guesting, environment fair, storytelling program, eco-fashion show etc. The Miss Earth winner is the spokesperson for the Miss Earth Foundation, the United Nations Environment Protramme (UNEP)

Miss Earth 2012 pageant took place at the Versailles Palace in Alabang, Muntinlupa city,  Philippine on November 24, 2012. There are 80 contestants competed for the Miss Earth crown in this year's pageant.
At the end of the event  Olga Álava from Ecuador, crowned her successor Tereza Fajksová from Czech Republic

Miss Earth 2011 pageant was held on December 3, 2011 at the university of the Philippines Theater in
Diliman, Quezon city, Philippine. At the end of the event Miss Earth 2010, Nicole Faria of India Crowned her successor Olga Alava of Ecuador as Miss Earth 2011.

Miss Earth 2010 pageant was held on December, 2010 at Vinpearl  Land, Nha Trang, Vietnam. 84 contestants competed for the Miss Earth crown. At the end of the event Outgoing titleholder Miss Earth 2009, Laissa Ramos of Brazil crowned her successor Nicole Faria of India.

Miss Earth 2009 was held at the Boracay Eco village Resort and Convention Center, Aklan, Philippines on
November 22, 2009. The pageant had delegates from various countries that vied for the Miss Earth crown.
Top 16 Semifinalists competed on both swimsuit and evening gown competitions to determine the Top 8 Finalists. At the end of the competition, the outgoing titleholder, Miss Earth 2008, Karla Henry of the Philippines, crowned Larissa Ramos of Brazil as her successor.

Miss Earth 2008 beauty pageant was held at the Clark Expo Amphitheater in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippine on November 9, 2008.The pageant was broadcast live via ABS-CBN,  via Star World,
The Filipino Channel and Other partner networks. Eighty Five delegates form all over the world competed
the pageant to make history of Miss Earth.  At the conclusion of the final night of the competition, outgoing titleholder Miss Earth 2007, Jessica Trisko from Canada crowned her successor Karla Henry from the Philippines.

Miss Earth 2007, the seventh Miss Earth beauty pageant, was held on November 11, 2007 at the UP Theater in Quezon City, Philippines. The delegates also visited Nha Trang, Vietnam. 88 delegates competed for the title, making 2007 the largest edition of delegates for Miss Earth. The pageant was hosted by MTV Asia VJ Greg Uttsada Panichkul, Priscilla Meirelles and Ginger Conejero. Miss Earth 2006, Hil Hernández from Chile, crowned her successor Jessica Trisko from Canada.

Miss Earth 2006 pageant took place in the National Museum Manila, Philippine on November 26, 2006,
The pageant was won by Hil Hernandez of   Hil Hernández of Chile.

Miss Earth 2005 pageant was held in Quezon City, Philippines on October 23, 2005. 80 contestants from around the world took part in the pageant competed for the crown marking the biggest turnout in the pageant's history  Alexandra Braun Waldeck of Venezuela was crowned by Miss Earth 2004 Priscilla Meirelles as the new Miss Earth
